Obituary: Rogers, Sidney Earl, Sr.

ROGERS, Sidney Earl, Sr. (Age 83) Passed away on November 16, 2012.

Sid was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Surviving him are 12 children, 52 grandkids, 13 great-grandkids, four sisters, one brother and numerous friends.

He was born and raised in California and served in the military during WWII .

Sid worked many trades, mechanic, carpenter and farmer.

He loved music and was a wonderful singer and guitar player.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Rogers; mother, Neva Pritchard; father, Frank Rogers; son, Clarence Brockie; and brother, Gene Pritchard.

His kindness and gentle love will be greatly missed by many.

We love you papa!

A Rosary will be held Sunday November 18, 2012 at 7 pm at Sidney’s home.

His funeral is on Monday, November 19, 2012, 11:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1104 W. Heroy Ave., Spokane, WA.

Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

Immediately following the Interment, a reception will be held at Gilda’s home.
