Obituary: Storms, Sally

STORMS, Sally
(Age 56)

Passed away Sept 4, 2012 from the devastating effects of cancer.

She was born in Newport, WA July 23, 1956.

Sally spent many of her “formative” years with her family there.

She is survived by her two brothers Jeff and Bill Storms, mother Deplores Storms, her two adult children, Jeffrey and Jeri Ward, and her grandson Christian.

Her father, William “Bumpy” Storms preceded her in death.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Bill Martin, whom she lived with at Sacheen Lake.

Sally was a nurse at St. Joseph CareCenter and Holy Family hospital.

She loved and was loved by both patients and staff.

Sally will always be known as “grandma dogs” to many in the family.

She loved picking huckleberry’s with her mom, walking her dogs, Prissy Snodgrass and Boo, and going to the casino, where she was luckier than most.

She loved all of her family, first and foremost, they were a priority to her.

She fought hard to stay alive, to the last breath.

Sally leaves behind many fond memories for family and friends.

Please send any donations to the Lung Cancer Alliance or Partners for Pets.

A Celebration of Sally’s life will be held Sunday, September 30, 2012 from 1-4PM at 8682 Fertile Valley Rd., Newport, WA.
