BRISLAWN, Marguerite Ann Maguire
(Age 96)
Born July 2, 1916 to James and Rose Maguire in Spokane, passed away September 23, 2012 in Spokane.
Marguerite was a teacher for several years then worked as a bookkeeper at Cowen’s Pharmacy in Spokane until she retired.
She was a member of the Secular Franciscan Guild, Jesuit Auxiliary, and St. Aloysius Altar Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phil V. Brislawn, whom she married at the Cathedral of our Lady of Lourdes in 1957; four brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her sisters, Madeline Dellwo and Kathleen Barbour; two sons, Tim J. Brislawn and Patrick G; one grandchild, Christi (Eric) Brislawn and numerous nieces and nephews.
A vigil service will be held Thursday, September 27, at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, September 28, at 10:00 a.m. at the Jesuit House, 1106 N. Astor.
Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
