Many years ago I was attending a weekly Spokane Cougar Club meeting. The room was absolutely quiet as the speaker stood to talk. His words were as follows: “We just got run over by a mo-ped, we now have tanks coming up on our schedule and we just got run over by a mo-ped.” 

I can think of nothing more apropos following the Colorado game than that statement made by coach Jim Walden following an embarrassing loss to the Cal Bears. Coach Walden was able to turn things around. Let’s hope coach Mike Leach can do the same.
