A way to remember

I am not a runner and don’t know anything about the Boston Marathon. I don’t know if it is a timed race for all runners or if the runners are notified by race officials of their finish times. Either way, I believe every runner that officially entered the race be sent some type of certificate stating that they are unofficial finishers with a time of 4 hours, 9 minutes and 42 seconds. I believe that was the time of the first explosion.

This may give those that were unable to finish the race a small but meaningful feeling of pride and accomplishment of qualifying for the marathon.

My heart goes out to all of the people of Boston and around the world who were affected by this horrible tragedy.
