Somebody needs you

The goal of Somebody Needs You is to match donors with the specific requests of needy Spokane residents.

The list of requests is coordinated by the Volunteers of America in cooperation with recognized social service agencies in Spokane. If you have an item to donate, please contact the social service agency directly. Donors who can deliver items are especially appreciated.

• Family of six with limited space needs bunk beds or trundle beds. Contact Heather at Parent-Child Assistance Program, (509) 979-2556.

• Families with toddlers need expandable baby gates. Contact Anne at Early Head Start, (509) 279-6903.

• Single mother needs crib mattress, clothing for newborn girl, small dresser and newborn-size diapers. A 17-year-old girl needs twin-size mattress and box spring. Family of three needs king-size mattress and box spring. Contact Carolyn at American Indian Community Center, (509) 362-4290.

• Disabled man needs vacuum cleaner. Contact Patou at Home and Community Services, (509) 323-9471.
