Obituary: Stewart, Donald H.

Age 81

STEWART, Donald H. Longtime Elk resident, Donald H. Stewart, lost his prolonged battle with Alzheimer’s on Saturday, February 9th, 2013.

He is survived by his wife Aline, son Donald Jr and daughter Nancy.

A remembrance will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Colbert, WA on Saturday, February 16th between 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM.

Born in St. Joseph, MO in 1931, the “Anchor Man” was an avid sportsman, and known to all as a friend that could get a job done.

He made a lasting impression on everyone he met, and will be dearly missed, especially by his family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in his name to Hospice of Spokane.
