CHAS Valley clinic robbed

From staff reports
The Spokane Valley CHAS clinic at 924 S. Pines Road was robbed this morning, the Spokane County Sheriff’s office said. Deputy Craig Chamberlin said a man wearing a hoodie and a surgical mask from the clinic’s waiting room approached the pharmacy around 10 a.m. and showed a gun. He passed an employee a note demanding narcotics. Chamberlin said he escaped with an undisclosed kind and amount of drugs. A police dog was brought in for the search but the man likely fled in a vehicle, Chamberlin said. No one was injured. The clinic moved a few appointments due to the robbery but was reopened early in the afternoon. The suspect is described as white, in his 20s, with short brown hair and wearing a hoodie. Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest and RxPatrol are offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-222-TIPS or go to www.crimestoppersinlandnorthwest.org.
