Faulkner’s mother, Amanda, said she brings the children to visit the goats daily. The goats were in the park as part of a landscaping program by the city of Liberty Lake to rid the park of weeds. The goats eat the weeds and their digestive systems sterilize the seeds, providing a natural solution to a common problem. The neighborhood petting zoo is merely a bonus.
