Obituary: Meier, Paul H.

MEIER, Paul H. (Age 90) Passed away on January 13, 2013 as a result of Parkinson’s disease.

Paul was born on January 28, 1922 in Enumclaw, WA and lived in Spokane, WA for 55 years.

He graduated from Ione, WA High School in 1939.

Paul worked in the grocery business in Spokane, after selling the family farm near Ione, in 1952.

He married the love of his life, Lora Ruth Roberts in Ione in 1944.

The joys of their life together were dancing, traveling, and having two sons, Larry and John.

Paul was preceded in death by Lora and Larry.

Son, John moved Paul to Sequim, WA in October 2007.

He is survived by son, John and daughter-in-law Barbara of Sequim, WA; granddaughters, Amanda of Seattle, WA; and Melissa and husband, Brian of Wheaton, IL; great-grandsons, Ben and Nate Pietrzak.

Paul will be placed next to Lora and Larry in Riverside Cemetery in Spokane, at a later date.
