GAMACHE, Leonard (Age 88) Visitation for Leonard Gamache will be Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from 5pm to 7pm at Hennessey Funeral Home, 2203 N Division with a Rosary to follow at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. at St Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 4420 N Jefferson; Fr.

Michael Blackburn, celebrating.

Interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 7200 N Wall St. Leonard was born September 10, 1924 in Olga, North Dakota.

He was devoted to his first wife, Lorraine (Rainey) Gamache until her death in 1989.

He worked for Culligan followed by Spokane Public Schools as a custodian/warehouseman from 1959 until he retired in 1985.

He married the “light of his life”, Margret in 1992.

He loved dancing, playing cards, word puzzles, watching the Mariners and traveling to Arizona for the winters with Margret, whom he affectionately called “Maggie” until her passing in 2003.

Leonard enjoyed having family and friends over to his home to socialize.

He appreciated his time spent with his favorite great-granddaughter, Kylee Gamache.

He was a member of St Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Lorraine Gamache, his second wife, Margret Berg-Gamache, and his stepson Jim Berg.

He is survived by his daughter Debby (Allan) McEachern, sons Dennis (Kim) and Dan, his brother Pat (Judy), sister Helen, stepson Bob (Jeanne) Berg, ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Spokane, 121 S Arthur St., Spokane WA 99202.
