LRS, Freeman remain unbeaten

Dylan Hartz threw for 142 yards and a pair of first-quarter touchdowns as Lind-Ritzville/Sprague ran its win streak to 19 with a 42-8 rout of Davenport in a Northeast 2B League game Friday night in Ritzville.

Connor O’Neill added 73 rushing yards and two scores for the Broncos (6-0, 4-0), who built a 42-0 first-half lead. O’Neill also caught a 92-yard touchdown pass from Hartz in the first quarter.

Davenport fell to 3-4 overall and 2-2 in league games.

Freeman 52, Chewelah 7: Max Laib scored three touchdowns as the Scotties (7-0, 4-0) racked up 34 first-quarter points and routed the visiting Cougars (1-6, 1-3) in a Northeast A League game.

Laib had a 24 yard touchdown reception, returned an interception 25 yards for a score and scored another touchdown on a 34-yard run.

Markus Goldbach contributed touchdown runs of 15 and 45 yards, and a touchdown catch of 55 yards.
