Photo caption incorrect

A photo of downed trees on the cover of Sunday’s Northwest section was published inadvertently with a wrong caption, due to a page designer’s error. The correct caption is: Dana LeRoy and Caleb Brown jump on fallen trees after a windstorm felled dozens of large pines on the Whitworth University campus Saturday evening.

Knott, Kimball renovated work

Sherry Knott renovated a historic structure called the Frequency Changing Station with her first husband, Alan Kimball. A story on page A5 Tuesday about the arts advocate’s death incorrectly said she had partnered in that endeavor with her second husband.

Reunion quote misattributed

A quote in the story about the Lewis and Clark High School class of 1964 50th reunion in Boomer U on July 28 was attributed to the wrong person. Nick Suksdorf made the comment about male students being horny.
