Spokane Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man and a woman who allegedly shoplifted from a Fred Meyer on Saturday, then threatened to shoot and stab witnesses before fleeing. The pair were captured on video camera in an elevator at the location on South Thor Street. The woman is described as Hispanic and in her late 20s, standing about five-and-a-half feet tall with a slight build and dark hair with streaks. The male suspect is white, standing a little under six feet tall with a stocky build and a shaved head, according to police. Store employees approached the man and woman on suspicion of stealing. The woman pulled out a knife and lunged at a witness attempting to take a picture of the suspects, according to police, and the man threatened to shoot the witness.
