Adams, Kupp honored again

Eastern Washington sophomore quarterback Vernon Adams and freshman wide receiver Cooper Kupp raked in another award on Thursday.

Adams was named Football Championship Subdivision National Performer of the Year by College Football Performance Awards.

Kupp won the DFPA Wide Receiver Award, which was won last year by the Eagles’ Brandon Kaufman.

Adams and Kupp combined to break 48 school, 22 Big Sky Conference and 12 FCS records during the past season.
