Wrong entity name

The Coeur d’Alene Basin Natural Resource Trustees are managing the settlement money used for clean feeding grounds for waterfowl at the Schlepp property. The name of the entity was incorrect in Thursday’s Page A1 story about tundra swans, due to a reporter’s error.

Report on jury ruling incomplete

A news brief on page A7 Thursday did not completely report the conclusions of a Spokane jury in a case involving the shooting of a Moses Lake man’s dog by a sheriff’s deputy, due to a reporter’s error. The jury ruled the deputy “willfully destroyed Slyder without lawful justification.” The dog’s breed was also disputed by the parties.
