Obituary: Reilly, Joyce Irene (Mcclung)

Age 84

REILLY, Joyce Irene (McClung) (Age 84) Of Cheney, formerly of Waukon, passed away on March 18, 2014.

Joyce was born June 14, 1929, in St. Maries, Idaho to Fred McClung and Agnes McClung (Fish).

Joyce graduated from Fairfield High School in 1947.

She married Dee L. Reilly in 1950 and lived on the family dairy farm for many years.

Joyce was a 50-year member of the Waukon Grange and was a member of the Martha Chapter of Eastern Star.

She was a cook for the Reardan-Edwall School District at the Edwall location for several years and she was the last postmaster of the Waukon Post Office.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dee L., in 2005.

She is survived by her son Garry Reilly and wife Mary of Ritzville; daughters Irene Rosenoff and husband Rex of Ritzville, Marsha Reilly and husband Craig Holstine of Olympia, Linda James and husband Steve of Wenatchee, and Janice Hicks and husband Doug of Reardan; sister Winifred Steiner of Cheney; brother Raymond McClung of Sumner; and numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cheney Fire Department Equipment Fund.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 23, 1 pm, at the Reardan Community Hall.
