Police: Moscow man dies in alcohol-related crash

From staff reports
One Moscow man is dead and another was injured after what investigators say was an alcohol-involved rollover accident in north Moscow late Thursday. Christopher Papineau, 30, died at the scene of the accident Thursday shortly before 7 p.m., according to the Idaho State Police. Papineau was the passenger in a Chevy Impala driven by 38-year-old Trent Brown, also of Moscow, that left the roadway near 700 E. Public Ave. and flipped, according to a news release. Papineau, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the Chevy. Brown was also not wearing a seatbelt. He was taken to Gritman Medical Center in Moscow, where he was treated and released, according to hospital staff. Police believe alcohol was involved in the rollover. An investigation into the incident is ongoing, according to a news release.
