The freshman forward for Division III Mount St. Joseph’s made an uncontested left-handed layup for the opening basket of Sunday’s 66-55 victory over Hiram College played at Xavier University in Cincinnati. Hill has just months to live because of the tumor. She made the last shot of the game, too, returning with 26.5 seconds remaining to sink a layup right-handed for the game’s final basket. “Today has been the best day I’ve ever had,” Hill said. – Associated Press
