Obituary: Frederick, Gloria Douglas

FREDERICK, Gloria Douglas (Age 71) Gloria Douglas Frederick, age 71 of Spokane, became our guardian angel on Friday, October 10, 2014.

Gloria was born in Burton, Michigan to Ralph and Alwilda Tabor.

Family and friends were Gloria’s pride and joy.

She treasured spending summers camping with family, in between canning vegetables from her prized garden and making the best homemade jam.

She loved to cook and hold family meals with every big holiday.

Gloria’s zest for family time was second to none.

She enjoyed watching her many grandchildren participate in their sports and activities.

She often kept memories and good experiences alive through her amazing picture collages.

Gloria is appropriately admired as the best Nana ever.

Gloria is survived by husband, John Frederick; her son, Mark (Jennifer) Douglas, and their four children; her daughter, Deborah Mann, and her three children - daughter Danielle; son Ian, and his family; daughter Mandi, and her family; her son Brooks; and her six siblings (Sue Hagensen, Marie Willett, Carolynn McBride, Eleanor Garrett, Bill Tabor, Lewis (Morse) and their extended families.

The family wishes to thank all of those who visited Gloria during her last months.
