WEILEP, Betty R. (Age 90) Betty Weilep (Comegys) was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on May 9, 1924, passed away on August 29, 2014 in Spokane, WA.

She resided in Spokane for over 50 years.

She previously resided in the Lewiston, ID area.

In 1953, Betty graduated from nurse’s training in Pendleton, Oregon, worked as an RN at Valley General Hospital.

Retired early to care for her family and home.

Betty was a member of D.A.C.

and enjoyed reading in her spare time.

Betty was predeceased in 2008 by her husband, Edwin O. Weilep.

They were married for over 50 years.

Betty is survived by daughter, Alice M. (Mike) Schroder; son, Lee E. Weilep; daughter, Catherine D. (Harry) Stearns; son, Dale E. (Linda) Weilep; and daughter Susan E. Weilep all of Spokane.

Also survived by eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A public service will be held at 2:00 PM on September 11, 2014 at Open Heart Chapel, 4123 N. Monroe, Spokane.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Spokane or Open Heart Chapel.
