From Staff Reports

A 26-year-old woman was killed on Interstate 90 just before 7 a.m. Wednesday after she fell asleep at the wheel.

Giselle Naughton, of Seattle, was eastbound about 24 miles west of Ritzville when she fell asleep and her 2011 Toyota Scion went off the road and rolled, the Washington State Patrol reported in a news release.

Naughton was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two passengers, Justin F. Wyatt, 26, of Seattle, and Zea Naughton, 3, of Spokane, were transported to Adams Rural Hospital with injuries.

All three in the car were wearing seat belts, WSP said.
