Jakob Poeltl had nine points and 10 rebounds for the Utes (12-2, 2-0 Pac-12).

Tony Parker scored 12 points to lead UCLA, which lost its fifth straight. The Bruins (8-7, 0-2) trailed from start to finish, shooting just 29 percent, including 1 of 11 from 3-point range.

The Buffaloes (9-5, 2-0) used a 14-0 run late in the first half to break open a tight game. They never gave the Trojans (8-6, 0-2) a chance at a comeback as they hit four straight 3-pointers to start the second half.
