Obituary: Pederson, John Sigurd

Age 91

PEDERSON, John Sigurd (Age 91) In loving memory of John Sigurd Pederson, who has gone home to be with the Lord on June 27, 2015.

John was born on August 12, 1923 in Anatone, WA to Sigurd and Olive Pederson.

He is survived by his son Paul Pederson of Spokane WA; daughter, Jill Jensen of Espanola, WA; one sister, Jewel Knight of Spokane Valley, WA; stepsons, Everett Nolte of Spokane Valley, WA and Edward Nolte of Lewiston, ID; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and countless friends.

John was preceded in death by his son, Mark Pederson; wife Belva Mae Pederson; mother Olive and father Sigurd; three sisters: Opal, Ruby and Pearl; and his stepdaughter, Irene.

John served in the US Army as a Medic during WWII.

He was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and very much enjoyed the temple work he had done over the past several years.

A Memorial Service will be held in his honor on Friday, June 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 4014 S. Bowdish Rd., Spokane Valley.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 11:00 at Asotin Cemetery in Asotin WA.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
