Four-vehicle crash cleared from I-90

At-fault driver has minor injuries

Traffic on Interstate 90 is moving again now that a four-vehicle pileup has been cleared from the westbound lanes. All westbound lanes were initially blocked after the crash occurred just before 10 a.m., five miles east of downtown Spokane. The driver of a passenger vehicle was hospitalized with very minor injuries, and no one else was injured in the crash, Washington State Trooper Jeff Sevigney said. That driver lost control while using worn tires on the rain-slicked road, slamming into the other three vehicles, including a tractor-trailer hauling an oversized boat, Sevigney said. Several tow trucks were called to the scene.
