Community Colleges of Spokane promotes assistant softball coach Paco Crandall to replace Janet Skaife

Assistant coach Paco Crandall is taking over the Community Colleges of Spokane softball program.

Crandall has been an assistant with the Sasquatch since 2010 and replaces Janet Skaife after one of the most successful seasons in team history. Skaife retired after her team went 46-4-1 and won the NWAC championship this past season.

CCS athletic director Ken Burrus announced the promotion of the former Gonzaga Prep athlete on Monday.

In addition to being a coach and instructor at CCS, Crandall is the owner and instructor for Diamond Athletic Softball and is the founder, general manager and coach of the Spokane Diamonds 18 ASA softball team.
