Favre and the Packers have mended their relationship after a messy split from Green Bay in 2008. It stemmed from the then-annual offseason drama over whether Favre would retire. The event inside Lambeau Field is the start of a green-and-gold celebration of his storied, 16-year career with the Packers. He led the revival of one of the NFL’s marquee franchises after being traded from Atlanta following the 1991 season.
