WSU volleyball team loses at No. 20 Arizona

Washington State’s volleyball team fell to No. 20 Arizona State (18-7, 7-7 Pac-12) on Sunday 26-24, 25-21, 23-25, 25-23 in Tempe, Ariz.

Kyra Holt led the Cougars (14-12, 3-11) with 19 kills, 12 digs and three aces. Two Cougars turned in double-doubles: McKenna Woodford had 11 kills and 14 digs and Haley MacDonald 51 assists and 10 digs. Kate Sommer had 20 digs.

The Sun Devils hit .257 to the Cougars’ .191.

Washington beats Arizona: Third-ranked Washington (22-2, 12-2 Pac-12) defeated No. 19 Arizona (16-10, 6-8). Scores were 25-16, 25-17, 25-20. Crissy Jones led the Huskies with 10 kills on .450 hitting.
