BOISE – Boise County Prosecuting Attorney Jolene Maloney has been charged with a felony count of driving under the influence.

Maloney was convicted of two prior misdemeanor DUIs in 2012 and 2013, making the latest charge a felony. She has also been open about being an alcoholic in recovery.

Details about her newest arrest, made by the Idaho State Police early Friday morning, were not immediately available.

She is being held in Ada County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Fourth Judicial District Court Friday afternoon. If convicted, she could face up to 10 years in prison.

The 40-year-old Maloney was also charged of misdemeanor injury to a child and disturbing the peace in 2010, but received withheld judgments on those charges.
