EWU bookstore staff threatened

Eastern Washington University police arrested a man Thursday suspected of threatening to burn down the EWU bookstore.

Employees said the man, identified as 23-year-old Miles P. Ormsby, became angry with the staff and made threats. A witness told police that Ormsby was being mean to the employees and was “just being creepy,” according to court documents.

Ormsby reportedly admitted making the threat when he was contacted by police at his home Thursday. He was arrested on suspicion of making a threat to bomb or injure property.
