Leonard Paul
(Age 75)

Passed away April 7, 2016.

He was born March 19, 1941 in Prosser, Wash-ington to Joseph and Christina Buechler.

His family moved to Spokane in 1950.

Leonard graduated from Gonzaga Prep in 1960 and joined the Navy.

He is survived by brother, Jerome (Bette); sister, Patti Corté; daughter, Lynne on the coast; nephews and nieces, Joe, Dave, Martin, Mary and Alan Buechler and Michelle, Bryan and Darin Corté and many great-nephews and nieces in Spokane.

Boating, motorcycle riding (was a charter member of the Roving Gamblers’ MC) and outdoor activities were his favorite activities.

Len was a member of the Spokane Fire Department for 28 years.

He was preceded in death by his dad and mother and brother-in-law, Michael Corté.

Visitation to take place on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 3:30 to 7:00pm at Hennessey Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 N. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA.

Funeral Service to follow at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 16, 2016 with viewing prior to the service from 12pm to 1pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 304 S. Adams Rd., Spokane Valley, WA.

Interment with military honors the same day at 3pm at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, 7200 N. Wall, Spokane, WA.
