North Idaho man injured in fall from WSU sorority roof

A 22-year-old North Idaho man injured himself falling off the roof of a WSU sorority house shortly before midnight Wednesday.

Pullman police spokesman Cmdr. Chris Tennant said the man was conscious after the fall and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening internal injuries.

The man is from Hayden Lake and is not a WSU student, but Tennant said his brother attends the university. The man was very intoxicated when police found him after the fall.

The roof is on a three-story building and is very steep, Tennant said. The sorority was not hosting a party or event Wednesday night.

“He had no business being on the roof of the Kappa Delta sorority,” Tennant said. “We don’t know why he was there or what made him fall.”
