Post Falls woman dies after being hit by car
A Post Falls woman died Thursday from injuries suffered Tuesday evening when she was struck by a car as she was crossing a street in Coeur d’Alene.
Julia A. Free, 74, died at 12:16 p.m. at Kootenai Health, the Idaho State Police said.
Free was walking across East Best Avenue near North Fifth Street, in an area not marked as a crosswalk, when she was hit by a car driven by Lester Olson, 62, of Coeur d’Alene.
