CC Spokane women cruise past Walla Walla

Bri King scored a game-high 20 points with four assists and the CC Spokane Sasquatch women (13-6, 2-2) dominated the second half en route to a 68-56 victory over the visiting Walla Walla Warriors (13-4, 2-2) in Northwest Athletic Conference play on Wednesday.

Katlyn Sussmmers added a game-high 10 rebounds and Gese Gruber scored 10 for the Sasquatch, who outscored the Warriors 40-27 in the second half.

CC Spokane 95, Walla Walla 82: Jake Love poured in a game-high 33 points and topped all rebounders with 11 to propel the Sasquatch men (18-2, 4-0) to a NWAC victory over the visiting Warriors (7-12, 1-3).

Sasquatch reserve Levi Taylor chipped in with 20 points and seven rebounds and AJ Knudsen added 14 points.

CC Spokane has been ranked No. 1 in the NWAC coaches poll for two straight months.
