Spokane Empire sign receiver Trevor Kennedy
The Spokane Empire signed receiver Trevor Kennedy for the upcoming Indoor Football League season, the team announced Sunday.
Kennedy (6 feet, 205 pounds) was signed after taking part in an open tryout in December.
Kennedy played football at Mercyhurst University in Pennsylvania. In 2011, he was the NCAA Division II leader in receiving yards per game at 126.3. He set several school single-season receiving records.
