Motorcyclist killed in crash in northeast Spokane

A motorcyclist was killed Sunday night in a crash in northeast Spokane.

The motorcyclist rear-ended a minivan in left northbound lane of Nevada Street just after 11 p.m. when the minivan stopped to turn left on Broad Avenue, Spokane police said in a news release.

Broad Avenue is one block north of Wellesley.

Names of the drivers have not been released. The driver of the minivan was uninjured. Police reported that multiple witnesses provided medical aid at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
