Driver crushed by car near Sagle identified

From staff reports

The Idaho State Police identified the Bonner County man crushed to death by his car Tuesday night as Charles D. Morales, 56.

Morales and his passenger, 55-year-old Robert W. Peterson, were trying to fix their stalled vehicle on Gun Club Road near Sagle, Idaho, when the vehicle began to roll, the Idaho State Police said in a news release.

Both men tried to hold the vehicle to stop it, the release said. Peterson was flung from the vehicle onto the road and survived without injuries. Morales was thrown over the embankment and crushed between the vehicle and trees.
