ELLENSBURG, Wash. – A 23-year-old Seattle man was injured when his car rolled over on Interstate 90 about 12 miles west of Ellensburg Thursday morning, the Washington State Patrol reported.

The crash happened at 5:49 a.m. as Trevon Matthews was driving in a 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass east. The car cut across both lanes of traffic before rolling on the right side of the road coming to rest on wheels, according to a news release issued by the State Patrol.

Matthews was taken to KVH Hospital in Ellensburg, where he was treated and released.

Neither drugs nor alcohol were involved, and the driver was wearing a seatbelt, the State Patrol said.

Charges are pending, the WSP said.
