The Coeur d’Alene Tribe has named Francis SiJohn as the chief executive officer of the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel. SiJohn has been with the hotel for nearly a decade and previously served as the guest services coordinator at the Coeur d’Alene Casino.

Jonas Hemenway has joined Elder Law Group PLLC as an associate attorney. Hemenway has experience in estate planning and elder law.

Jaclyn Clabby, Katie Daniel and Joe Romberg have joined Lukins & Annis, PS as associate attorneys. Clabby previously worked as senior counsel at Umqua Bank. Daniel recently graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law. Romberg previously worked as general counsel at Healthcare Realty, LLC in Denver, Colorado.

Nonprofit

Modern Woodmen of America has named Jessica Kovac as the recipient of a $100 award grant through the organization’s Hometown Hero Program for her work as the co-founder of Blessings Under the Bridge.

The M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust has awarded a $130,000 capital campaign grant to the Blood Center Foundation of the Inland Northwest for a new bloodmobile for the Inland Northwest Blood Center.

Associated Industries’ Bright Promise Program has funded several half-tuition scholarships for the 2016/2017 school year. The scholarships will benefit twelve students at the Community Colleges of Spokane and six students at Eastern Washington University.

Realty

Kim Cooper has been named the 2016 Realtor of the Year by the Coeur d’Alene Association of Realtors in recognition of his contributions to the real estate industry and his community involvement. Cooper is with Select Brokers.
