Worker hit, killed in construction zone on Interstate 90

Associated Press

BOZEMAN – Authorities say a worker was hit and killed by a vehicle driven by a co-worker in a construction zone on Interstate 90 in southern Montana.

Park County Coroner Al Jenkins said Tuesday that 52-year-old Kathleen Louise Lee of Troy, Montana, died Monday afternoon at the construction site near Livingston. She was employed by Sletten Construction.

Undersheriff Clay Herbst says the driver of the vehicle was backing up and struck Lee in what appears to be an accident.

The Park County Sheriff’s Office and the Montana Highway Patrol are investigating.
