Morning prep roundup: Boston Tacke helps University win at T-Town Throwdown

Boston Tacke scored 21 points and University beat Stadium at the T-Town Throwdown in Tacoma on Friday. Tanner Christensen added 17 points for U-Hi.

Mike Ervin scored 22 points and Ferris routed Walla Walla to advance to the Avista Holiday Tournament title game at against Lapwai on Saturday at 4 p.m.

In the finale of the Lake City Invite, Jacob Pfennigs dropped four 3-pointers in the first quarter and finished with 21 points with 12 boards and Post Falls trounced Mead.

On the girls’ side, Ashlyn Wallace scored 22 points and Clarkston rode a huge fourth quarter to slip past Lake City into the Avista tourney title game on Saturday against Walla Walla.

And Lexie Hull scored 23 points with seven rebounds, Lacie Hull added 22 and tournament host Central Valley crushed Stanwood on the second day of the Cam Jam Clash for Cancer.
