PULLMAN – Washington State will try to come away from its longest Pac-12 road trip of the season with a split at 11 a.m. on Sunday at Arizona State. The Cougars (10-10, 3-5 Pac-12) put together an inspired effort on Thursday at No. 7 Arizona, but the Wildcats pulled away late.

Conor Clifford scored 19 points against the Wildcats and freshman point guard Malachi Flynn chipped in 12 points and three assists without turning the ball over. WSU has lost its last six trips to Tempe with its last win at ASU coming in 2009.

The Cougars will have to contend with hot-shooting guard Torian Graham (18.9 points per game) and forward Obi Oleka, who has recorded a double-double in 11 of the last 12 games. Oleka is averaging 14.2 points and 11.5 rebounds per game.
