Girls soccer roundup: Makinzie Packwood leads Clarkston over East Valley

Clarkston 3, East Valley 0: Makinzie Packwood scored a goal and collected an assist and Clarkston (5-2-1, 4-2) beat visiting East Valley (5-3, 4-1) 3-0 in a Great Northern League match on Tuesday.

West Valley 1, Cheney 0: Chelsea Koker scored the lone goal and West Valley (2-6, 2-4) beat visiting Cheney (5-4, 3-3) 1-0.

Northeast A

Medical Lake 5, Newport 1: Makayla Geiger scored three second-half goals to lead visiting Medical Lake (5-5, 4-3) past Newport (1-6, 0-6) 5-1. Emily Bronkhorst scored for the Grizzlies in the 48th minute.

Lakeside (WA) 3, Deer Park 2: Maddie Hall opened the scoring for Lakeside (7-1, 7-1) in the 17th minute as they went on to win 3-2 via a shootout (3-1) over visiting Deer Park (4-4, 4-3).

Riverside 3, Colville 0: H. Phillips scored a pair of goals to lead Riverside (1-7, 1-6) past Colville (2-5, 2-4), 3-0. J. Proctor added a goal and an assist for the Rams.

Nonleague

Freeman 5, Northwest Christian 0: Claire Love scored the first goal for visiting Freeman (8-0) in the eighth minute to lead her team to a 5-0 victory over Northwest Christian (2-3). Macy Luhr, Riley Hawley, Kassidy Reilly and Isabelle Miller added goals for Freeman, while Peyton Brewer had two assists.

Idaho

Coeur d’Alene Charter 7, Priest River 0: Sarah Hines scored a hat trick and visiting Coeur d’Alene Charter (9-0, 6-0) shutout Priest River (1-9, 0-4) 7-0 in an Intermountain League game. Lauryn Keith found the net twice for the Panthers.

Sandpoint 3, Post Falls 1: Sandpoint (9-0, 8-0) scored three times en route to a 3-1 victory over visiting Post Falls (7-3, 5-2) in a nonleague game.
