Motorcyclist injured while fleeing authorities

A motorcyclist was injured Saturday night while on the run from Washington State Patrol troopers.

Troopers said John P. Pennington, 50, lost control of his motorcycle near Third Avenue and Cedar Street downtown. He was transported to a local hospital with injuries.

Pennington faces a felony charge of eluding from police.
