Police searching for north Spokane bank robbery suspect
Police are searching for a suspect alleged to have robbed the Washington Trust Bank in north Spokane late Friday afternoon.
According to a Spokane Police Department news release, after entering the bank the suspect implied he had a weapon, demanded money and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. Officers arrived a few minutes later with a K-9 unit, but did not locate the suspect.
Police were able to recover surveillance footage of the suspect, who they described as between 5-foot 8 and 5-foot-9, Hispanic, of average build, with long brown hair, tattooed arms, a goatee and mustache.
He was last seen wearing a red and white trucker-style ball cap, a black shirt, blue jeans and several rings on his fingers, according to the release.
Officers have asked anyone with information on the robbery or the suspect to contact Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
