A man died at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center days after crashing a motorcycle into a ditch along Highway 2 in Lincoln County.

Gregory A. Sutton, 35, of Spokane, was reported dead Monday by the Washington State Patrol. He had been transported to the hospital late Friday after crashing his Honda motorcycle a mile west of Reardan, the agency said in a news release.

The WSP said Sutton was riding westbound when his bike left the roadway, and that he was intoxicated at the time of the crash. He was wearing a helmet.
