Former Gonzaga guard Kevin Pangos is on the move and his paycheck is on the rise.

Pangos is expected to join Spanish professional team FC Barcelona. Eurobasket.com reported that Pangos has signed. Sportando reported Pangos has agreed in principle to a two-year deal.

Pangos, 25, played the last two seasons with Zalgiris in Lithuania, earning 2018 All-EuroLeague second-team honors. The 2015 WCC player of the year averaged 8.1 points and 4.6 assists in the Lithuanian LKL league.

Pangos averaged 12.7 points and made 47.5 percent of his 3-point attempts in EuroLeague contests. The Canadian native helped Zalgiris reach the EuroLeague playoffs for the first time since 1999.

Terms weren’t announced, but Lithuanian journalist Donatas Urbanos tweeted that Pangos’ deal could be worth $1.5 million annually.
