Celebratory event for Snake River Birds of Prey area planned
BOISE – An event to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the designation of the Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area is set.
The Snake River Raptor Fest is planned for June 2 at the Indian Creek Winery in Kuna.
The Birds of Prey National Conservation Area Partnership and partner groups are hosting the event.
The conservation area in southwestern Idaho is part of the U.S. Bureau of Land Management’s National Landscape Conservation System.
Falcons, eagles, hawks and owls are found in the area.
