No. 13 USC tops 19th-ranked WSU in four sets

Emily Baptista totaled 17 kills and 15 digs and Jasmine Gross added 10 kills with a .538 attack percentage to propel No. 13 Southern Cal (19-8, 11-5) to a 25-18, 25-18, 22-25, 25-22 victory over the 19th-ranked Washington State Cougars (19-7, 10-6) in Pac-12 Conference volleyball action on Sunday in Los Angeles.

McKenna Woodford paced the Cougars with 15 kills. Taylor Mims finished with 10 kills, Alexis Dirige tallied 18 digs and Ashley Brown notched 36 assists.

Next up for the Cougars is second-ranked Stanford (24-1, 16-0) on Friday in Pullman.
