PULLMAN – Washington State linebacker Peyton Pelluer became the longest-tenured player in school history Saturday night against Arizona, appearing in the 52nd game of his career.

Last week in a 31-7 win at Colorado, Pelluer tied the previous mark of 51 games, held by wide receiver Gabe Marks and defensive lineman Daniel Ekuale. The sixth-year middle linebacker broke the record Saturday against the Wildcats when the Cougars came out for the game’s first defensive series.

Pelluer also ranks inside the school’s top-10 for tackles – he’s seventh all-time with 325 – and tackles-for-loss with 31 1/2.
